Romantic Open Air Getaway
Planning a romantic weekend in Boise, Idaho is easy. There are many options for great activities. One suggestion is to rent a tandem bicycle from a bike shop along the Boise greenbelt. A recommended shop is Bikes2Boards located on State Street near Veterans Memorial Parkway. The shop rents tandems that can easily be ridden through the adjacent park to the Boise Greenbelt. The Greenbelt is a long bike and walking path that runs from the mountains above the city, along the river, next to the University and several parks, and ends in the adjacent city of Eagle, Idaho. The Greenbelt is ideal for spring through summer outdoor activities with its scenic views of the river and the town.

After leaving the bike shop on your tandem, follow the paths through the park to the river. The greenbelt runs East and West along the river. A nice spot for lunch is a 45 minute ride to the East, taking you through the city's largest parks and a golf course. The restaurant destination, ... more
